Dream?s
Reality
As I lay in a
distant slumber
Nestled in my bed
Keeping warm from
Mother Nature?s wintry air
I dream of the warmer days of summer
When the laughter of children
And the fresh scent of green grass
Fills the air.
The other night,
I was deep in my sleep
It was a night,
filled with dreams
It was all that a
dream could be
But it not as
great as it seemed
But there was
something about this dream,
There seems to be
something missing
It seems as
though I can?t find my focus
Because I can?t
find you there
Could this be
That my dream is
not so perfect
And reality has
taken its toll
On my
subconscious?
Longing to
embrace your soul,
Thirsty to taste
your kiss,
I grow hungry
with each hour
To simmer in your
bliss.
Intrigued by your
beauty,
Captivated by
your mahogany,
Instantly I am
breath-taken
By a silhouette
of your form
I imagine of what
it would be
For you to lie
next to me
Oh baby, come back to me
Cause you?re my Dream?s Reality
