There are questions that I want to ask

But I don’t always know what to say

I can’t get these thoughts of you out of my mind

And fact of the matter is…I think of you everyday.

Out of all of the thoughts I have

You are among the most pleasant

So now I must inquire of you.

Who is the One For You?

Is he tall, dark, and handsome?

Does he have a spiritual background?

Does he have that childlike nature?

Does he still like to go to the playground?

Can he step up when you need him?

Can he handle a strong woman?

Will he express himself, and tell you what’s on his mind?

Will he be able to communicate with you in the bad times?

Will he ride it out with you until the end?

Will he stick around and be a true friend?

Can he do things for you no one else can?

Will he be there for you and be a True Man?

So I ask you…who is the One For You?

Who is your true man?

And if that man was me,

Tell me, would you understand?

Do I have these qualities?

Could I be there for you?

Could this be something that you’d want?
