Patience

A period of long-suffering

A long time without love

Waiting for a sign from above

To endure or to tolerate

To hold on or to be persistent

To forget about the past and make the best of the present

It?s about living to the full extent of your life

It?s about living without all of the strife

It can sometimes be a forbearance,

It is also about waiting for another chance

We all have it, but most of us don?t show

It?s like holding in a secret that you can?t wait to tell

And sometimes you feel like you?re going to explode.

It?s waiting on someone when you have someplace to go.

Some people might say that it?s a big waste of time.

It?s when you want to get upset, and can?t help but to be kind.

It?s about being optimistic, when you know that you are down,

It?s about smiling anyway, when you just want to frown

One of the hardest accomplishments that anyone could ever achieve

For the rewards it reaps are not so hard to conceive

It?s about letting things happen and feeling the flow.

Because everybody needs Patience in order to grow.
