Reality
Fact is…you can’t always have what you want.
Fact is…you have always been what I want.
Do you remember when we first met?
Do you remember what it felt like after six months?
I can’t help thinking of what used to be,
But maybe I should just wake up and see.
It can be a moment of pain.
And when you’re not here, it always rains.
It is something I can’t get away from.
It is something that we tend to steer clear from
It is something that makes us all human
It is something that comes to your mind every now and then.
I often ask myself why?
Why you have to go?
But fact is…I already know.
With everything we’ve been through,
It’s been you who has helped me to grow.
The feelings I have for you I’ll always show.
I don’t know what to do
And if you leave I’ll feel like a complete fool.
Because it’s you that I don’t want to lose
All of the answers I wish I knew
What I do know is that I can’t be without you.
And no matter what happens…I’ll always love you.
Reality can make you laugh,
Reality can make you cry,
Reality can sometimes be hard to believe,
Reality will often make you ask why
Reality can be so hard to see
Reality will often make you question
Reality can also teach you a lesson
Reality is something everybody goes through
But most of all…reality is my love for you.
