The intimacy that we share?

I know that you do.

Because you love me the same

Even though you know I’m no saint.

I’m not perfect, yet you don’t expect me to be.

But you’re the perfect one for me.

How deep is your love

As deep as the deep blue sea.

And I love you for your spirit

For your comfort is like shade from a tree.

I love you for all of the reasons that anyone can.

I love you for the peace I feel when I hold your hand.

A love like yours, I may never be able to find.

But I know it’s okay, because I plan to be with you until the end of all time.

I need you, like people need air in order to live.

I need you because I know that you have plenty of love to give.

Not only a true love to me, but one of my few true friends,

So it’s not hard to see, that for us, there can never be an end.

I can’t think of getting along in this world without you.

I can’t even fathom the idea of our relationship not being true.

I get butterflies in my stomach.

When I have thoughts of you

I know I’ve loved you for a while, but it just seems so new.

I know deep in my heart that this love is real.

And you are one of the few, who tell me exactly how you feel.
